Kp och matvägran

Jag vill heller inte fördjupa mig i den här diskussionen :) min poäng var bara att dom största boa & pytonormarna är knepiga om inte helt omöjliga att husera på ett vettigt vis i racksystem..

Ball pythons Like  tight spaces. Period. Rack systems seem to work best for them, and i know the swedish rule  says they need to be kept in a BIG tank, (ball pythons are an exceptio)  thats one of the biggest mistakes you can make.  Some work just fine, but ball pythons in the wild live in rat holes move to one... eat... stay put .... move to another.  they get nervouse very easy and in my experience and  stop eating.  I acutually have horrible luck with ball pythons.. and i have put them in terraiums.

   Most of my conacts that i know say keep them tight, so they feel secure.

Ja det är sant att kungspyton gillar trånga utrymmen. Men varför kan man inte inreda trångt i ett stort terrarium? 

Jag är inte emot användningen av rack till kungspyton. Jag skulle själv använda det om jag skulle satsa på avel. Dock så använder många för små rack. Speciellt i USA. 

Jag ställer mig emot påståendet att kungspyton trivs bättre i rack än i ett RIKTIGT inrett terrarium. 

BTW så tycker jag att L80 är utmärkt då det är minimum mått. Med andra ord så finns det inget tak för hur stort man kan ha. Kan även tillägga att även jag har haft besök av djurskyddsinspektörer och de hade absolut inget att klaga på.

im sure its possible, but not eveyone here is going to spend the time and the effort to make it right.  L80 is a great basic rule.  but like any Genral rule it lacks commen sence,  I have had horses and belive me horse rules are 10000% worse.  

   The probelem is the rules are made because people arnt using commen sence ;)  I  understand this.   I dont want to get into a rules debate.  but talk to anyone who has ball pythons not just 1 or 2  but 3,4,5 or more.  im no  expert... i SUCK at ball pythons... i have tried with tanks with tons of hides and everything money can buy.   

  the people i have talked to say racks, for BP work best. Im not saying im god or that you have to follow what i say as god, Ball pythons are like the one snake i cant keep.   This is just what i have taken in from my personal experience and contacts.  

I have seen many ball pythons in normal terraiums work just fine.  it just never has worked for me.  and i problably will never have a ball python again, just for that reason... =)
